If you bid on it, and changed your mind, it isn't fair to the seller. It isn't fair to other buyer's who saw your bid. You've wasted other people's time and energy.
A deal is a deal as they say.
If there is some type of extenuating circumstance that you couldn't reasonably anticipate, you might try to work things out with the seller.
You should just suck it up and pay for the item.
You might ask the seller not to ship it, and be able to save on shipping charges.
Next time, wait until you're sure you want it before bidding.

Well, bidding on Ebay is a binding contract.
A. Tell the seller you bid on it by mistake. He may be able to offer it to the next bidder.
B. If you don't want to do that, and/or the seller won't deal with you (which he has no obligation to do) then you are going to get negative feedback and not much else.
C. In rare cases people have been taken to court.

You cant. If you are the highest bid, you are responsible to pay for it. If you don't, then you can expect a really bad rating from the seller, which will affect your ability to buy things in the future. Think of it as a learning lesson for you.

You cannot retract bids on eBay. Once you bid, you are obligated for the product (if you win it). Just hope that someone outbids you.
Here's a non-conventional way of doing it. I don't suggest this, but create another "bogus" ID in eBay and overbid yourself. Then, don't buy it.
Like I said, I don't suggest doing this, but....

You could contact others that bid and see if they are interested in buying it from you but you may be stuck with it.

You can cancel your bid if the auction hasn't ended. See 'Help' - how to cancel bids. If the auction has ended and you don't pay, get ready for a red dot...........
