We think, therefore we dream. Not everyone is brought from the exact same way or culture, or environment. I think dreams are just compositions of various fractions of your mind.
Things that are bottled up in your mind, things that bothered you, things that made you happy, anticipation of events etc, are the stuff that made up your dreams.
They are not premonitions of future events. They are like little sticky notes that remind you of things that you may have forgotten. Thus, drive you to do things that you may not realise that they are necessary...
the mind controls our action. But we can control our mind by not letting our "destiny" be dictated by the contents of dreams.

I disagree with it being opposite. It depends on the individual if that is the case because it sure hasn't worked out like that for me. I have had dreams being identical to things happening, as they were happening so saw exactly what was happening not the opposite. I have had beliefs of opposite by what I saw in my dreams, like as a child saw a face and believed it to be my demon yet it was my saviour masking the demon, I hope I explained that well enough but it doesn't show me dreams work oppositely but more encrypted. Puzzles thrown before us for us. They maybe revealing desires or fears or of past or of future and we have to figure out which, if we can at all that is.
I think I found the key to unlock the doors to do just that-soul searching it's called isn't it?

Actually dream interpretation is purely subjective. What one symbol means to one person means something else to another. There are 100's of books on the market about dream interpretation, and none of them agree. For an example, if my mate was cheating on me in my dream that would tell me that there is trouble in my relationship and to do something. Death to me means that the direction I am going is a dead end and to change my directions.
There is no single meaning for any dream symbolism. Sometimes your dreams are just your brain dumping nonsense to clear out the "trash" as it is.

No, that isn't true in most cases. Dreams are usually more symbolic or metaphoric but some times they are like watching a movie and the meanings of them are clear. Dreams are influenced by many things. Whatever you don't deal with during the times your awake your brain deals with them through your dreams. Because of it's relaxed state some times it is able to put together subtle things you don't notice during your day to day existence.

Not necessarily. But sometimes it mean close to the opposite. Like if its about something good it means misfortune and vise versa. The best way to interpret dreams is to buy a dream dictionary or look them up online. Keeping a dream journal by your bed to write down your dreams when you wake up (as to not forget them) is fun and useful too.

I believe and I am sure of it that the launguage the symbols and the meanings in your dreams all come from your head and only you can answer the meaning. Others can help by saying this or that to get the juices flowing but you have the answers. Is it opposite - is it a wish fufillment a fear ---------you

I don't believe this...I believe our dreams are a collective of our inner thoughts and fears and anxieties mixed with things we encountered throughout our day....for example...last night I dreamed I was giving Dane Cook a piggy back ride and he was dressed as a woman....Now...my only explanation of this is...Dane Cook was on here yesterday...and I saw a transvestite at walmart...I see no way that can have an opposite

Who have you been talking to? Because you should really tell them to shut their mouth and glue it shut. Because that is not true. Sometimes it means exactally what you dream, but most of the time it has a deeper meaning in your life, not the opposite.

Your dreams are a reflection of your imagination, and often project your hidden fears. For example, dreaming of someone cheating on you exposes your deep set fear that he is. There is no correlation between your dreams and real life causations.

No dreams are all about YOU. They teach you who you are. All the people in dreams represent aspects of yourself. It is all symbolism, not to be taken literally. It is like a play of what is going on within to help show you what is going on inside of you to bring your attention to what need issues need worked through.
