Yes. I was allowed to be a kid - playing outside and having to be home when the streetlights came on, buying penny candy at the corner store, taking vacations which always took us down the highway to somewhere we hadn't been before...
Yes, I have very fond memories of my childhood, and I made sure that my kids did, too. Now that they're grown, we have a lot of fun remembering crazy places we went, songs we sang, things we did - I'm sure they'll make a point of giving their children that same gift.

No, I didn't really have such a memorable childhood, except with my brothers and my cousins... I'm trying to change that for my little cousins, who like to sit in the house and play PSP all day, lol... I've been getting them out of the house and having little sleepovers with them so that they won't be thinking when they get older "what did I do" or "what was I like when I was a kid"..

Yes, I had a great childhood, lots of family and a nice house, good schools. Lots of great friends, swimming all summer, christmas was like magic every year. I had my grandparents and my mom in the same house so I learned soooo much. I miss my childhood!

The summer I was 7 years old, Cody the 18 year old dude next door backed his jeep over my arm. When the cast came off, he felt kinda bad and gave me his 2 wheel bike. When he was teaching me how to ride, I fell off and broke my ankle. He moved away that Winter. I remember I didn't like him very much.

It was only memorable because I realize that I was already messed up when I was a child.

I remember so many times I was in the hospital. I remember it took 6 nurses to hold me down. I remember loving to go to my Grandmas house and playing in her attic. Dressup and mailman. The hospital was bad memories and Grandmas house was definitely the best memory I have.
