As far as I can tell the conservatives are not as politically active until the time comes to help a cause or candidate. Liberals tend to be more pro-active and thus appear to be more plentiful, though I suspect that a majority are in fact liberal, I can't say for sure.
Something about showbusiness and the type of personalities it attracts tells me this.

Without relying on hard figures, I would have to say most celebrities are Liberal.

Liberals.
Something about the lure of fame and fortune just fits liberals better than consertives. If you look at the really vocal ones, they're looking to make more money by revitalizing their careers or to keep more money by supporting liberal candidates.
