I'm a married mother of one and I am considering getting a nose ring. Most of my friends/family are pretty conservative and discourage the idea. I don't want to get it for the attention, I simply think that it would suit my face. The only reason I'm wondering is because I know nothing about nose ring care, and having a 10 month old son might make it difficult. What do you think?

NOT an actual RING, just a STUD. Oh, and if you were the one who said "who cares?" then don't answer the freakin question. idiot.

Talk to the professional you plan to visit about care. Then once you've educated yourself on everything, if you still need to ask this question, the answer is probably no.

I have 2 young boys and I had my nosed pierced not too long ago. 1st of all, Im not saying this to scare you but I have had many piercings, including tongue, belly button, & all over my ears...and the nose hurt the worst. But its only the actually piercing that hurt. After the guy was done, the pain was very minimal. Its not hard to take care of either. Where I went they just gave me some sea salt and I just had to mix it with warm water and hold my nose in it for about 2 mins every night. The only bad thing is, after about 2 months of having it, I took it out to clean my face and forgot to put it back in that night. The next day I tried to put it in and the hole had closed up!! So definitely leave it alone for a while because it will close up quickly.

I was considering the same, but rather than a nose ring, you should get a nose stud. They are much more consevative and they are so small that you little one would have a hard time pulling on it rather than a ring.

9 out 10 people i've seen with nose rings don't look good with them... but they obviously think they do. I always thought the rings were a little much... what about a little diamond stud instead? I think those are nice...

i love my nose ring.. i actually have a small diamond stud which i prefer to the full ring. i think you should do what you want.. if you think it would look cute go for it.. never regret what you didn't do! and as for the care.. the only thing you need to do is wash it twice a day with dail soap after its pierced and you can't remove the jewelry for 4-6 weeks after its done.. after its healed.. you do NOTHING.. it super easy! i love mine! its a great way to show people you have individuality and personality. My daughter in law got one when my granddaughter was about 1 year old. I personally didn't like it (and I actually ignored it) but it's not my body. She eventually took it out because she said she had outgrown it. She's 22. I'm so glad. But the answer to your question is up to you. But consider, with a little one, it;s just one more thing to care and clean and you've probably already got your hands full.

i have my nose pierced. yes you should get it if you have the right shaped nose. the only people who shouldnt get it is the ones who dont have a well defined crease, ya know? i have a small stud w/ a chrystal in it. it is very cute. it is very easy to take care of. just get h2ocean. it is the best cleaning product for piercings! my family discouraged me from getting mine, but after i got it, they realized it wasnt bad at all. Go for it!

I had a nose ring for almost a year. I am married and have two kids. I was constantly snagging it on things, when changing my shirt or washing my face. It hurts like hell to have your nose yanked on.
