Well, I agree with the first answer. My ex pretended for about a year......and then that nice guy was gone and the real him came out. So as long as they can til they get what they want.

He can pretend to be a nice person until one day we catch him red handed or offending others.

I agree with the answers above, but another way is to make them believe they are not going to get what they want. If they believe that and are still nice, then they are probably nice.

Until he gets your thrust and when he feels confident enough that you wont leave him. I would say about 3-6 months.
