We didn't evovle from monkeys we evolved from a monkey-like creature which evovled from something else all the way back to cells before that amino acids which form naturally in space.

This took billions of years and millions for humans to evolve all the time God was there too.

"I don't believe spontaneous life is real"

Neither do evolution scientists, honey. In fact, that's why the theory of evolution came about in the first place. Evolution never says anything about "spontaneous life"...changes in the environment cause beings to mutate and evolve. That's not spontaneous.

As to your question, humans and monkeys both evolved from a common ancestor. That ancestor has since died off, and monkeys, apes, and humans have split off into different directions. Here's a better question: if we didn't evolve from monkeys and apes, why do we share 98% of our DNA with them?

Darwinism only explains subtle changes within a species. What the fossil record shows is sudden bursts of all manner of animals, modest change and sudden and total extinction. After 150 years of looking, all the proofs that have been found to support Darwinian evolution have turned out to be frauds or bad science. Piltdown man, Archaeopteryx, Haeckels drawings, the Miller-Urey experiment, the Moths, remember them?
All but the Piltdownman are still taught in Public School Biology books to this day as fact. So I would understand the confusion.
The Cambrian period is the most nettlesome for evolutionists as it is the period of less than10 million years, 500 million years ago, where there is a sudden explosion of nearly all the plant and animal phyla existing today. " It`s as if they were just planted there without evolutionary history" Leading Darwin Cultist Richard Dawkins. Even Darwin himself had trouble with this one with the absence of,".vast piles of strata rich in fossils before Cambrian.
Check it out, in 1984 Chinese paleontologist made what was considered by scientist around the world and the NYTimes "the most spectacular discovery in this century." From nothing to eyes. This is not taught in Biology books because it might be something other than evolution. In Communist China they have more freedom to discuss scientific facts bearing on evolution than in the US. Chen Jun Yuan of the Nanjing institute of Geology and Paleontology says their discoveries show that contrary to Darwin's tree of life which predicts a few primitive organisms gradually branching into others the fossil record shows just the opposite. "The base is wide and gradually narrows. Darwin is only a part of the story".
That is what intelligent design says.
To answer the Question:
We don`t know where monkeys came from but they didn`t evolve from worms. The record shows an intelligent design beyond our knowledge. We will have to get back to you later.

That is real science but now I will be sued by the ACLU for saying it.

monkeys came from their previous ancestor, who came from their previous ancestor, etc... there is a reason that scientists look for missing links. it is because the rest of the links that arent missing fill in the picture of where we came from. apes evolved from small rodent like animal intot he great apes that most resemble human beings. there were many stages of human evolution where the living species was not a modern day human, nor an ape. i could care less if you believe in evolution, but it would be irresponsible for you to base your decisions on a lack of knowledge.
The original common ancestor was a single celled organism that lived in the water many hundreds of millions of years ago at a time when there was no oxygen or atmosphere on earth. that evolved into multi-celled oprganisms, then fish, then reptiles, then birds, then mammals. Whales and Dolphins, interestingly, evolved from the same ancestors that dogs are from. The whole process is really quite interesting, and there is no reason to limit your scientific knowlegde or understanding of the natural world just because your religion disagrees with it. Look at the age of your religion and the age of the science. You are an autonimous entity on this planet, and you should strive for whatever knowlegde you hunger for.

You may not believe "spontaneous life is real", but that doesn't really change the facts or reality. If you saw a really weird-shaped crack running out into the concrete of the road, and it had an 8-foot long strand of crab-grass growing out from the curb that fitted in the crack perfectly, would you conclude that basic natural events had caused the weed to grow the same shape as the crack (Trucks running over it, etc), or that some alien or divine power had designed the crab-grass to perfectly suit the crack?

If you've ever taken a basic biology class, you would have learned the theory that life evolved from basic organic elements that bonded and bonded over time to form organisms, which evolved to plants and animals, and then we came along. Spontaneous life is not very widely accepted.

I for one do not believe that we evolved from monkeys. Think about it. If we did, then why are monkeys still around??? I think that we did evolve from a creature that was similar to the monkey, but not monkeys themselves.

Well matter of fact we involved from monkey is not correct Our ancestors were humans but they had similarity at maximum in the those early periods..As with time we have changes 2 maximum extent that we call our ancestors evolved from monkey

Some would answer all life came from a blob, from space or brought to life by being struck by lightning. The sad thing is how many people are willing to readily believe this swiss cheese theory and equally as unwilling to look in their hearts where the spark of our creator is. Lucifer is smiling. Your eyes are open. Don't swallow the pill.
