You probably shouldn't even have that many fish in a 5 gallon tank-no matter what kind they are...I'm sure that the mollys are fine (although i'm suprised that they're all male and they're not fighting) but I wouldn't put any more fish in that small of a tank. Otherwise, Mollys are really peaceful fish...so you'd be fine if you had more room. They're schooling fish though so make sure that you always keep a group of them-same with the neons(i think).

Yes, you can put Mollys and Neons together. BUT- 5 gallons is too small for the population you are describing. The Mollys are going to get a lot bigger, and Neons are only happy in schools of 6 to 12 other Neons. 4 Mollys and a school of Neons would need a 10 to 15 gallon tank.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Neons are not very hardy fish. If you buy a school of 12, expect about half to die within the first two weeks. They just die really easily when they get stressed out by being shipped or switching tanks. The best way to get a good school of Neons established is to ask the store you plan to get them from when their new fish shipments arrive every week. If they get new Neons every Friday, buy your fish on Thursday- this means the fish you are buying have lived 6 days already- they are the "survivors", and will likely be tough enough to handle another move.

They should be okay, though, Neon Tetra do best in groups of 5 or 6 or more since they are schooling fish and with a 5 gallon tank you would be overcrowding them by putting them with 4 Mollys.

This is a great site with loads of free information on fish. Click on the "fish" button then click on the "freshwater" icon (it has a picture of a large round fish called a Discus) and check out which fish you want then check the compatibility chart. A lot of times, fish that are classified as in the middle will do okay with each other. I have Neon Tetra and they got along just fine with my Dwarf Gourami.
Definitely check out that website and their sister sites anytime you have questions about your fish and when they can't help, Yahoo! Answer is a GREAT place to ask questions. :) Good luck!

They will be fine together, but don't over load the tank. If you get few neons you are at your tanks limit. The filter has to be able to keep the tank clean, so you don't want to overload with fish. A good rule of thumb is 2 fish for every gallon of water, and fewer are better.

The rule of thumb is one inch of fish per gallon of water.
Neons and Mollies are fine together but I avoid mollies now because they are so prone to ICK.

yup, no problem... aside from the neons being too big for the mollies to eat, the neons are too small to eat the baby mollies (they give birth live like guppies, if you have a pair anyway)

frequently about a million inch of fish for all and varied gallon of tank. so that you'll upload some more effective in case you pick. And definite, in case you upload new ones they'll connect precise in with the different ones. I in simple terms offered a clean pal for my catfish in the present day and they are swimmin about like they have been lengthy time period associates.

Any type of community fish will do. Just don't put semi-aggressive or aggressive fish in with them, or they will be lunch.
