how can i convince my friend daily that it would be terrible if he killed himself?

hes from anouther country and i try so hard to tell him plz dont do it ! he already asked the q on here how does someone kill themselves and make it look like an accident

Oh my goodness that is horrible tell him how important he is to you as a friend and doing that will not only upset you but crush you completely . Hang out with him and get to know why would he feel he needs to take those actions . Be his support line or seek higher support this is serious.

YOU can't, you aren't a professional and this person has one of two things going on, he is either seriously distubed and needs real help from a mental health professional OR he thinks thats the only way he can get attention, if thats the case then you making a fuss over it is just feeding that. you can't change him or it he has to do it and thats what you need to tell him, tell him if he cares about you at all he'll get himself some help. is this an online friend? you said he lives in another country. keep in mind if he is this may not be real at all.

Tell him to seek professional help like a psychiatrist. He needs something examined in his head. He sounds depressed so take him to the doctor already. Find out the cause.

if i wanted to kill myself i would not be telling anyone about it i would just do it. he/she is just messing with your head and if you feel he/she is serious then call the police and show them your computer then they will let the authority's in his state know. if he is going to do it, there is nothing you can say to stop him. he obviously thinks that there is no way out of whatever situation he is in.i say let someone close to him know. maybe they can keep an eye on him or get him some help.
