i like this boy and he likes me, lets say he asks me out:
1. how do i make sure his love for me never fades?
i understand it depends on what kind of guy he is...well, he's reeeally mature and he is puerto rican, he says the sweetest things to me something you'd hear in a movie or sumthin'...
and he also cares about me..i'm sure about it
1. so, how do i make sure his love for me never fades....??
because right now, liking him is the weirdest thing because he's so much different from other sexcraved jackasses i've like and have liked me previously...and he's just so different once i finally got to know him..

Sounds like he's a respectable young man. So first of all, make sure you behave in a respectable manner towards him. Even if he tries to test your boundaries later (guys are often immature like that, gotta watch out for it).

*You* cannot make him love you forever. It is his job to come up with a plan to enable him to work on and sustain his love for you - that is what commitment is all about. And if you want to have a forever love with him, then it's your job to come up with a plan to enable you to do the same.

When I say "plan", I mean: something almost like a business plan. So, there will be objectives: a detailed definition of what kind of relationship you want, and set times for periodic review of objectives and keeping track of progress.

How much time you want to spend together, how much personal space needs to be there, communication with partner, in what measure you are going to tell everything to him/her, the nuts and bolts of setting up common housekeeping and dealing with each other's annoying little habits, strategies for dealing with anger, what place sex will occupy in the relationship at its various stages. Etc.

Then you simply figure out what your part in creating each of the individual end results in your objectives would be. Detailed steps and actions to take, many of them on a daily basis.

The more you observe relationships around you and try to learn from those as well as relationships you have already had yourself, the better your plan will be. Ideally, however, you will come up with one plan together...

I wish you all the best.

God bless you

Ugh - another teenager question.

Young LUST (not love) always fades and is replaced by commitment. Mature people are usually most able to make this transition. Shallow and immature people can never do it and are usually perplexed as to why it happens.

Time will tell what this is.
