The bullpen is a mess. Also, they weren't able to replace Kevin Millwood when he signed with Texas. Jason Johnson hasn't cut it, though Paul Byrd has done OK. To the person who mentioned Bradley and Crisp---Bradley had to be traded before he tore the team apart, just like the Dodgers couldn't wait to get rid of him. He's a million-dollar talent with a ten-cent head. Crisp was traded for Marte, Shoppach, and Mota. You probably don't know who they are, but the first two will be regulars next year. Shoppach will catch so V. Mart can move to first.

Alot of it is bad luck. They are the only team in the league to have five fewer wins than predicted by the Expected W- L formula. The only other team that the Ex. W-L is off by more than three games either way is the Red Sox, which the forula predicts should have 4 fewer wins than they have. Everyone else is within + / - 3 games of the predicted W / L.

management does not know how to utilize talent. look at who they used to have. milton bradley and coco crisp. now who do they have...Aaron Boone (yankee reject) and other no namers.
