A good many of them are in Italian, probably the majority. However, don't forget the great German operas, as well as those in English.

maximum operas are in Italian, although there are a number of in French and German. presently, my opera company is even engaged on one in English- there is no bounds to what language an opera could be in. yet while it truly is not in English (or maybe sometimes whether it truly is), you the two get subtitles over the degree, on the back of the seat in front of you, or a libretto e book so which you will understand what's happening.
