Ok, I'm sorry about the caps, the sursing, and the anger, but hey, I was ripped! and no offense, but most of you that responded totally miscontrued what I was trying to say and bent it too your own liberal bias or anti bush or anti war. I think Bush is a bit of a dork, but he's also, at heart, a good guy just trying to do his job. and I am not anti war either, I realy respect what our soldiers have done in Iraq. I'm anti-political BS.

Not only does every American have the right but an obligation to be outraged by the tortured & beheaded servicemen. They are not protecting anything torturing & beheading our soldiers - have you forgotten the treatment of soldiers have international laws & rules. We do not torture & behead their soldiers. Shame on you for having no patriotism. I am amazed than the same poooooor Katrina victims people say leave an entire country to the torture of Al Queda. Are you suppose to be caring compassionate people & we are the war lovers? I do not think writing off an entire country including woman & children is compassionate. At least, we are willing to stay until we can safely leave their country & their children & women are somewhat safe. Al Queda proved once again how vicious they are. We got blasted for a few renegades taking naked pictures & you will defend beheadings. Good question! No I am not President Bush, I am the mother of a United States Army Ranger.

First off, hostility breeds off each other. The people in the Middle East (namely Iraq) don't have the same faith as most Americans do so they don't see political issues the same as we do. They do mix religion with politics all the time... and they see our presence as being heretical.
Second, Liberals and Conservatives approved of this conflict... it's only the extreme factions from both sides that are calling increased or decreased action. The President has asked us to be patient while we stay the course... we pull out too soon then we run the risk of complete anarchy in Iraq.. and it bleeding over into other nation-states.
Third, what about the citizens of Iraq that have gone up in smoke from our bombs? (Not Zarqawi.. he needed to die.. but he wasn't Iraqi he was Jordanian Terrorist Insurgent)
There are rules in war... and we have bombed most of that country back into the dark ages... now we have to pay Billions and Billions of dollars in our tax money and their oil reserves to rebuild that country from scratch...
Who has suffered more? I know that lives were lost on 9/11... and I am fully aware of the role that America plays in the world... but writing that we're are the martyrs? No way... it doesn't mesh well with me.
We have to build a stronger coalition of nations... Let it work rather than us fight this war...
I believe in our troops.. and I believe must follow this through... but crying we're the martyrs here? Nuh uh... that's uncool.

Those "savages" are humans protecting their home and way of life, just like the American South did during the Civil War. They wouldn't be killing "left and right" if we hadn't invaded their country in the first place. The Iraqis elected Hussein in the 1970's, many people who didn't agree and saw him as evil left their home for a better life, and everyone else who trusted him could have kicked him out themselves. Other countries have done, and many more will in the future. Our government lied to us, rallied support by false means, and ended up ruining the world's view of this "great" country. I love America, I really do, but it's not going in a good direction in general, regardless of who controls Congress. We're in the war, there's no going back, but we need to get the Iraqis on their own feet and get our self-important, arrogant butts out of someone elses' country! And next time you ask a question, calm down, you'll just fire up extremists and start an all-caps war.

Okay i'm going to shoot my liberal mouth off you close minded sorry excuse for a human being....
Iraqis didn't bomb NYC, terrorists did.
You don't have to support a war to support the troops. If you really cared about the troops you'd care that they're dying by the handfull with no end in site.
Innocent people in Iraq who don't kill babies and behead our soilders are killed every day in a civil war they didn't start.
We went into Iraq under a false pretense...WMD. If you want us to start policing the world from tyrants fine, but lets start with tyrants that actually have WMDs like oh I dunno North Korea or Iran.
And as long as we're helping the poor innocent Iraqis that are now being killed because we had to get those WMDs, lets stop in a few other places that horrible attocities are occuring like Afirca. Oh wait, when Clinton actually did that all of you repukes got mad. We'd have to make a few stops in places like china too, lots of human rights violations there.
But of course all of this is just liberal nonsense.
Try using that lump on top of your neck for something other then a paper weight sometime.

The majority of the people that live in the Middle East follow a belief in a religion that they have twisted into something it isn't. And they practice it fanatically. People like that cannot be trusted as dealing with someone with a fanatic view is like dealing with pychotics.
Whether anyone likes what I post or not, the liberals and republicans in the Congress and the Senate voted for the
war. Although I think Bush is a 'Howdy Doody", he has convictions. Bush did not send our troops to war on a whim. The intelligence does not come from the Presidents office. It is reported to the President. You cannot make statements based on plugs from CNN. Most of the reporting we all hear aboit Iraq is coming from Liberal news outlets who thrive on negative American bashing and programming to attempt to create separation in American. I.E. Rich against poor, black against white, etc., etc., etc., How much positive reporting have we seen since the war began? Not much. I have spoken with families who have sons and daughters in the military, in Iraq. The soldiers are glad to be there and are very much liked by the Iraq people, inspite of what the Liberal press reports. The American soldiers NEED ALL OUR SUPPORT!.
On to Immigration. Build a wall. Block the invasion because that is what it is. Based upon our constitution and laws, it is an act of war for the Mexican government to be aiding the people to invade our country. This is used to be a Sovergn Nation. Congress, Senate and the Preisident have failed the people on this issue. As a result of the amount of uneducated people being allowed to invade our country, it is a burden on the tax payers, on our education system, welfare and quality of life.
Remember, thousands, upon thousands, upon thousands, upon thousands of our four fathers gave their lives so that we all may have the rights and freedoms we have today. Let's not readily give that up because the Liberals want us to be sensitive to others. I have much more to say but would be rambling.
PS. Chris Mathews is going to be interviewing a detainee from Guantanimo so his liberal show can show American how bad American are. Where is Chris Mathews comiong from and whos side is he on? I wonder!

Did it ever occure to you that they did that to protect them selves?! We are intuding upon their country! What right do Americans have to just waltz right in and tell a country completly opposite to our own how to run their lives? We have destroyed their lives! Oh, and those few people who horrible things like torture for no reason? Why are you assuming everyone is like that? Do you know what other countries would think about us if they based it all on what some of the worst people shown on the news were like? They would think we were all serial killers, or fat people with carppy grade in a school sytem which is much easier than their own! They would think we are only rich because of some stupid people who just live their, but do nothing else! Thats what they think! Well, is everybody fat and dumb? NO! So why would you assume that everyone in the middle east is an evil beast just because of a few rebels? Can you call Earth one type of prople? NO! So don't even think of doing that with a country!

Yeah, funny isn't it? Liberals say they support our troops and they want out...those liars.
Now let me say something more sensible. Yeah, there were failed strategies and stratefies that's stupid from the start, but you can't change what's been done already. Carpet bombing the country may seem "better", but that options out already. You need to deal with what we have now and figure out a way to make the best of it. Its a killer to see our young soldiers go through hell each day, but they're doing it willingly. They're doing it so we don't, they're doing it to defend us. And I find it strange that you can criticize this war and say you support the troops because your practically criticizing what they're doing. Sure, there are some incidents like Haditha, but they're rare and few. They have it hard over there, and man, I find it damning that someone makes a big deal about the rare and few incidents and brushes off the daily atrocities that's committed to our troops everyday.
One things for sure, we're pissed that this war started as a lie. But you know what? We're there already and theres no turning back. Iraq under Saddam had no rights. They had no power to kick him out and if they tried, they were killed automatically. So there is some small reason to me that we're fighting for something. And you know those insurgents? They're not defending their own country from us, they're destroying their own country. How can you defend your own country when you kill your own people? Iraq's a pretty big mess right now and criticizing without acting is a waste of time. Our troops are there and they're doing something that none of us want to do, and they're doing something there so we don't have to do it. They're going through hell everyday, so I don't find myself in a position to criticize.

Ok, I'll tell you. It would have been smarter, if more brutal, to carpet bomb the entire country without putting a single US boot on the ground. Then at least any survivors could've started off with more or less a clean slate, and none of the 2,500 plus soldiers who died would been there in the first place! But you war-mongering nuts will never learn, will you?

We're not saying that these people aren't evil bastards. We're saying that if we are going to war we don't want to be lied to so that innocent people die for an illegitimate cause. But based on your level of anger, I don't think you really want a real answer; you just want to vent, but that is okay. If you live in America, you are allowed to do that, no matter what kind of thing you want to say.

... the beheadings were horrible... yes... but would it have happened if we weren't there... no... so why are we there? To be the world's police?
I guess it comes down to, are we the world's police... and if we are, why do we pick and chose the bad guys? China and Saudi Arabia do many horrible things and are just as savage, yet we are friends with them?
I guess I am saying, attack everyone that's bad or nobody... don't make some your friends and some your enemies...
