Ok you want to make sure that your partnes is clean because you are always more likely to get infections when you are on your period. The blood is constantly flowing but inside you your cervix is covered with it and if your partner has an infection or he is not clean at all, his sperm will cloth with the blood and it can get really nasty. So just make sure he cleans himself really good, or just have him wear a condom because as unlikely as it may seem you can indeed get pregnant while having your period due to a late ovulation. Just be safe.

Hmmm i would say that the probability to get infected is higher becouse of teh left over bloud cells, but this does not make it unhealthy. May be it is healthier if you are monogamius or keep only one sex parthner. How about you have you done it?

There is no harm in having sex during your period.

To correct the first answer, there is no time during your cycle when you cannot get pregnant. It is possible to become pregnant while on your period, although it is not likely.
