the best and easiest way (and it will help not to get pregnant on the honeymoon, too) is to go to the ob/gyn and get a depo shot. The depo, in most people, stops periods completely.

It relies upon on no matter if it would damage your day. i'm on birth control so if I do ensue to be meant to get my era in the week of my wedding ceremony i visit merely proceed taking my pill for yet another month to delay it. The era itself isn't the region, I merely get negative cramps in the time of it and that i do not quite choose that once i'm putting forward "definite, I do" lol. If it weren't for those i does no longer difficulty although, i imagine my fiance and that i can be too drained on the right of the evening to do some thing besides =P we are no longer having a honeymoon so i do not could agonize about that. in case you're planning to proceed with the pill please remember it really isn't any longer recommended to delay your era for better than 3 months.

Yes, by going to the doctor SHE can change her cycle if there is enough time.

Some things to think about....

Marriage is not just about having sex on your wedding night. This is a very stressful time for some brides and making too big a deal about this may cause even more stress. You have the rest of your lives ahead and lots and lots of opportunities for sex and making love.

Congratulations to you both on finding eachother.

If you take birth control pills you can manipulate your period by skipping the "off" week and starting a new pack.
And about the depo shot. It makes a lot of women bleed solid for the first 3 months!!!!

if she is already on the pill she can forget the last week and start the new pack. that way her period doesn't start. I have done that before for my hawaiian vacation! doesn't hurt her at all. it was recommended by my ob/gyn

yes that is commonly done

you can use regular birthcontrol pills and just skip the green ones (that you normally take during your perios) and start a new pack

ask your doctor for details

just let her have her period... give drugs just to try to stop/ put off their period can mess up the reproductive cycle..expecally if too much can cause u to go to the hospital...you can still have sex while on your period.. if you decide to have unprotected sex its a slimmer chance of getting pregnant because the lining of the uterus is sluffed off.
