i took mine out about 5 yrs ago since then it has close but i still have a small indention on both sides, i cant feel it and no bump, that went down a long time ago, maybe a year to a year and a half later is was gone. So give it some time.

I took my tongue ring out years ago and still have the bump.

someone i knew got her bump to go away after a long night of sucking on a pacifier, so a pacifier might help. as for me i took my tongue ring out like a year ago and i still have a bump and a dent.

I dont even think you should have a bump. I have my tounge pierced and when I take it out for awhile I just have like a little dent. I think it should last a couple of months though.

There is a good chance that it will never go away. It could be anywhere from 6 months to never. Good Luck with that.

maybe it won't because it is pericd and had a placing or jst go to the doc. or with not to spend any money at all talk to the person who pericd you tonuge or some one who perices tonuges

It may not. That bump is scar tissue.

It probably won't seeing as your toungue is a muscle and it's not actually skin....muscle scars differently than skin does

mine has never gone away completely. it has gone down a little bit but it hasnt gone all the way away..
