True friends are very hard to find, but they are out there. Good souls arise everywhere and are also looking for you.

Sometimes we search for true friends because we NEED something...someone to talk to, someone to always "be there," etc. What we fail to understand is that neediness in us shows and it turns others off. One of the best things anyone ever did for me was to hand me the book "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. My boss gave me that book when I was 17 and it changed my life. Like you, I was searching--for many things. I had to "get over me" and become truly interested in others.
Another thing that helped is when I became involved in community service work. I started volunteering and gained a great deal of satisfaction from feeling like I was part of something bigger than myself. That satisfaction seemed to help my self-esteem and confidence. Eventually I found myself surrounded by lots of new acquaintances and because I really was interested in others, my life really changed. And, you'd have to believe that I became more interesting as well.
Although these steps won't guarantee you a soul-mate, I sincerely believe that you will be surprised how reading one book with an open mind can help. See below to read book review. Good luck!

Be a true friend to those you know and meet, without expecting anything in return and soon you'll find you've gained quite a loyal posse! I know, It's worked for me!

i think that u should really be a true friend to those around you. It is always to keep ur friends and know that they can be trusted, and that they can trust you... contact me if ur confused... :)
