Here are links to the lodging section of the state's tourist web site and their home page--so you can find things to do! It's easy to use and gives you TONS of options.
If you find a place you want to go, get the information off the web site--but you may get the best deal by calling the resort reservation dept. directly or (if they have one) find the resorts web site to see if they list any last minute deals.
With the price of gas, there may not be as many people out there so you could find a deal--also, if you stay in out of the way places, you could get a deal too!
Have fun!

Try the Grand Casino in Hinckley? Otherwise, I know there's a few nice bed and breakfasts in Duluth.
Craguns is nice, but not in that price range... The cheapest I found there was about $450 for two nights.
Actually - Try Breezypoint resorts... www.breezypoint.com and click on getaways. It might just fit your budget?

You actually have to contact each one (and there are hundreds from the looks of it) to find out that answer and some offer other things that are not included in the price so I have given you the site above to check out. Best places for fishing are in the Northern part of the state. So welcome to Minnesota and lots of luck fishing our beautiful lakes.
