Do you enjoy your relationship with this guy? Stay with him, whats the point of breaking up now if you want to get back together when he returns. You love him stay with him. Being away from each other in terms of distance may teach you and him some life lessons, that may be crucial to the future.

Break up.
after Basic and AIT he will get some leave...he'll come back lighter and bald...
if stationed stateside he may check directly into his unit and not come back at all.

After his leave...if he's combat arms...he may come over seas...
in which case he may be gone more than a year.
It's only been three months for you two...
If it was meant to be, you can reconnect later.

You should agree to have either an open relationship or remain close friends until he gets back. After basic he'll get stationed somewhere and you never know if he will be able to choose where he goes or gets put somewhere.

It depends on how strong your feelings are for him. If you think you might be in love, then stay with him. Have a good talk with him and see how he feels about it as that would be the best thing to do.

well if you have to even ask that question you should do him a favor and leave him......if your with someone because you love them you would stick by them and be there for them when they get back....three months is not that long of a time, but its obvious to me you don't love him.....otherwise you'd never have to ask people if you should leave him because he's going in the army....its actually sad you'd consider leaving him for that reason.....let him go....im sure he'll find someone who will be there for him through thick and thin......not to mention it gets worse than basic training....what happens when he has to go to Iraq for months at a time.....maybe even a year or so....how are you going to handle it then?......do him a favor.....let him find someone who will stick with him and be there for him through the hard times...your not the girl.

It depends on how strong your relationship is, Do you feel he is worth the wait. My boyfriend is in the Army and he is in Germany right now for three months, I love him so I am waiting!!

If you really think there could be something there than stay but if you think its one of those you 're great but not for me Don't waist his time or yours and give him and your self permission to look else where for a relationship.

well 3 months is a short time...you can spend your time learning something while he's gone. Dive into karate or get into tennis..Again 3 months is a short time you shouldn't be fighting yet.

If you need to ask, you already know your answer. Break up with him before he leaves so he can be free to fool around while he's gone!
