There should be no reason that you should not be able to view the other webcam. I figure it may be what you both are using to view it. Are you using yahoo messenger, ICQ, or another program to view the children. I would say that if you were using one of these that maybe it could be affected if you and your cousin are not using the same version of messenger. I suggest checking that first. If you are using yahoo messenger, that it may be that yahoo may have been down during that time and you have just not checked it at a different time. Try these suggestions and see if that helps.

You don't need anything to see a webcam, other than a half-decent graphics card, which i'm sure the one built into your computer is fine (depending on how old your computer is). It's obviously a connection error, either thier connection to the internet is too slow, or yours is, or one of your computers has something corrupt. You need to find out if it's only you that they have problems talking to, and if you're the only one overseas that can't see them.

If you want to view someone else's webcam you do not need anything; if you want someone to see YOUR webcam then you do need to install the software (CD) ncluded in with your webcam before using it.

Perhaps your software does not accept their program - however - try getting them to send the cam viewing through Yahoo messenger - I believe all you have to then is accept whatever it is that they are trying to send to you...

Good luck!
