The only thing that ALL gay men have in common is that they are sexually attracted to men (and that they are men, obviously). That being said, LOTS of gay men form close relationships with straight women, and frequently, those relationships involve the romantic counselling of each other (Will and Grace may be stereotypical, but these people do exist; they are not an exagerration).
I am a bisexual man, my best friend is a sort-of-bisexual woman who prefers men. We don't have exactly the same taste; I have not found any of her boyfriends attractive, but we have had crazy, simultaneous crushes on celebrities and guys (and sometimes girls) we know.
As for the movie star thing; I think that's another issue - movie stars are brands or commodities which are marketed and (cinematographically) framed in desirable ways. We are coerced into admiring them, and since gay men make up a large part of the media market (the influencial power of 'D.I.N.K.Y's and 'the pink pound'), male movie stars are groomed to be attractive to them as well as to women.

I agree with Pete, 2 straight women don't necessarily like the same men, so why would a gay man and a straight woman like the same men??

Hmmm this is an interesting question. They might fancy the same movie stars however it all depends on ones personal taste. For instance, Brad Pitt - most straight women I know love him and I'm gay and I don't. However we all love Hugh Jackman. I think Anderson Cooper is really attractive....so I guess it just depends on the individual. Good question though!

There's no correlation between what gay men, and straight women fancy because everyone is different. Two gay men will fancy different types of people and hence a gay man and straight woman will also have differences in who they fancy.

That's a funny thing to ask seeing as everyone is different whether you're a man, gay man, woman or whatever. Everyone has their own taste in what they want so i would say no they don't have the same taste in nothing. Could be a couple of them who share the same tastes but that's just coincidence.
