OK so I always wanted to get as rich as possible at the expense of my own personal fulfilment, purely to support my ailing parents who will soon be inable to support themselves. This would mean that, whilst I was doing a 'good deed', I would be missing out on so much the owlrd has to offer.

OR I could say 'sod money and a decent career' and just live life to the full, but at the same time jeopardising my parents wellbeing and seeing them banged up in some crusty home.

What would you do? Thanks

I think that as people get older, they actually need less in life....especially after they have kids, that's all they need is their family. Don't settle for some job you hate that only makes 10 grand a year more than what you REALLY want to do. Do what you want and your parents will be happy that you are happy...and remember your parents can still get Social Security...it's our generation that won't be able to in the future more than likely

Well if i were you, carry on supporting your parents. You are doing a good deed and that will be passed back to you with good karrma.
You are a very decent and good person by the sounds of it. Keep your integrity and one day you will be rewarded.
Good luck!
