do you deem it more appropriate to spend tax dollars on large corporations such as oil companies who already have recorded record profits than on social issues such as free lunch's for children or food stamps for the needy or heath care for all Americans? Socialist do not believe in free enterprise and I have yet to meet a liberal against free enterprise...yet funding corporations instead of schooling health care and such is not only greedy it is not doing the country a great service and don't give me that it creates jobs and trickles down...because this has proven not to be the case....there is no benefit to anyone except the politician and the corporation itself in granting government money to oil companies at a time when gas prices are soaring and big oil is recording record profits...what was the plan with that ...some how the ol companies are going to decide they have too much money and lower gas prices? well it sure as hell isn't working is it? why do they call themselves conservatives when there beliefs are more along the lines of fascist?

Okay, you got us there. The democrats do believe in more government. Spreads out the power, may inadvertently create jobs, can even sometimes restrict a few freedoms but mainly in industry. However, I beg of you, please get your facts straight. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between Socialism and Capitalism. www.wikipedia.com I'm sure you can find a nice article on there. Saying that Democrats beliefs are "akin" or on par or parallel with Socialism, Communism, Terrorism, or any other bad-ism is nothing short of name-calling.

I think we have to have the fight as the founding fathers had set it up. the left wing is that way to counter the right wings lean towards Nazism, If we stay on either course to long it will ultimately lead to a dictatorship and no one wants that so lets just keep on fighting or we wont be able to much longer

This is opposed to the right wing federalism that is just as bad. Many right wingers believe the if the military or police do it, then it is good. If they break the law, many will cheer them on amoung right wingers.

Because there are different TYPES of Liberals (environmentalists, civil liberties, SOCIOECONOMIC, etc). WE don't always agree on everything, unlike the NeoCon types that are like lemmings and mindless, without a persona opinion.
