Yes, I think a 15 year old should wear a tampon if she wants to. Make sure she chooses a size that fits her flow. For instance, I perfer purchasing Tampax tampons mulitpack because it comes with super, regular and lite flow tampons. I also like OB regular flow tampons.
FYI .. I started wearing tampons when I was 13 or 14 and I started my period when I was 11. Like someone stated above it's not going to affect a person's virginity.
Tampons are wonderful. I hated having a pillow between my legs ... hense the reason why I stopped using a Kotex pad. There not as messy and they can be flushed down the toliet which eliminates the odor.
I perfer to use OB tampons because they are small. In highschool and college I'd use them because I could stick them in my jeans pocket, in my bra etc. and no one would notice. I didn't want to always have to carry a purse around when it was that time of the month so OB kept me from having to cart around a purse with a pad in it and my book bag.
I just thought of another thing ... If you wear thongs tampons great too because you can still wear them and not have to swich over to a full brief pair of panties (that time of the month) ... pads do not work as well with a thong.

I do not agree with everyone else.
I do not think that young girls should use tampons all of the time. If it for swimming or something special then fine. But to solely use tampons is not healthy for any woman. Small fibers can be left behind in the vagina and most young girls will not say anything about discomfort that it may be causing until it is unbearable. This happened to my 13 year old niece. I believe that you should put the least amount of foreign objects into your body as possible. If you do use them OB does have a small percentage of toxic shock syndrome.

like you stated, us women get classes. actually everyone appears conscious of it! actually everyone appears conscious of you want some style of product for it! Thats why they promote those issues! there isn't any longer some thing to feel embarrassment about and also you probable merely seem even better ridiculous entering into a keep in the lifeless of evening wearing shades and rushing out with a collection of bins of tampons!! So at the same time as your mom is going grocery procuring or some thing merely say "oh mom i desire better tampons!" She's a lady too she knows about classes and that i'm effective she is better than prepared to purchase you tampons! also wearing a tampon commonly used isn't a competent theory you'll get infections and its merely no longer quite-priced to purchase numerous tampons for all time!

yeah as long as mom has no issues about it. i did when i was 15 and my mom was kinda mad because i didn't tell her. I had a friend whose parents believed that virgins should not wear tampons so she wasn't allowed. My advice would be to talk about the pros and cons of doing it. tampons are not very comfortable if u don't know what ur doing. so talk it over with her and if ur the parent and have the open relationship, just be straight forward and explain things like brand and size.

Once you get your period you can wear a tampon. It doesnt make your virginity go away and they are perfectly safe. Any tampon has a risk of TSS but its rare and regardless of age.. it makes no difference. I started wearing tampons at 12 years old. Im 23 now and still use them.

Yes she should be able to wear them. It gives them more confidance when Mrs. Dot visits. They are so much more active then adults in there play and wearing a pad with a swim suit. Now that is gross.

I think for a 15 year old that is a virgin should not use it. I don't think it's right for their age, only if the 15 year old is not a virgin then that's a different story.

If its a boy then no
If its a girl she should ask her mother, Tampons are maybe neater but can cause problems if not changed frequently.
If its not inserted correctly it my cause physical problems,
I would wait unless you need them for sport or swimming.

if the tampon doesn't cause any discomfort than wear a tampon. they are much better in my opinion (less mess) if your body is mature enough to menstruate, then wearing a tampon should be fine.

If you know how to insert it yes. If not then no. Most young girls are skanks these days anyway. So does it even matter?
WHAT THE HELL DOES VIRGINITY HAVE TO DO WITH A TAMPON?
Omg people are ******* stupid.
