I wish I could be half this confident we are even going to make it to the 2nd round. Brazil does seem to have some primadonas on the team, and I have to admit I'm more worried about Ghana than I will be if we end up playing Brazil.

I think that the US has a good chance to advance into the round of 16. If so and they do meet up with Brazil, it will be a good match. I don't know if you remember, but back in the 94' World Cup here, they matched up in the round of 16 as well. The US fought hard and held them off until the 76th minute. The US has calmed down after the Czech defeat, but luck definitely has to be on their side to advance. They need a win against Ghana with a lot of goals and Italy to win. I know that the media will go nuts with a huge upset win against Brazil. Brazil is not the power house they have been in the past. They are good, but I think that intimidation plays a BIG factor. LETS GO USA!!!

I actually started laughing when I read this. US will not even make it out of the first round when they lose to Ghana. Even if they did, and they had to face Brazil, they would not even stand a chance - Brazil 5 - USA 0.
