Start reading the nutrition label...Only eat the recommended serving size and only eat 40-60 grams of fat a day...If you start today you'll see results tomorrow.

You really need to say how much weight. You could go very strict and cut out all bread and sugar products to reduce your carbohydrates. Increase the amount of fruit and vegetables to help fill you so you do not feel hungry and want to cheat. Do weight added cardio 3- 4 times in each week for a minimum of 30 -40 minutes without fail. Do a regular workout or walk 10 - 15 blocks at a rapid pace on theo ther days. Do not forget to increase your water consumption and drink 8 -10 glasses per day. Make sure one glass is consumed at least 30 minutes before your meals. Lastly, eat 3- 4 small balanced meals per day with the last meal before 7 pm. Happy wedding experience to you.

Make yourself a weekly diet that won't bore you but will fill you. Eliminate sodas, candy, alcohol and coffee completely. Eat on a smaller plate than you usually do and no seconds! If still hungry, drink water, 100% pure fruit juice or herbal tea ( preferably without sugar). Snacks in between meals = loads of mineral water and fruit/raw vegetables. Here is an example of what I used:

day 1. B - low fat plain yogurt, fruit and herbal tea. L - a huge green salad no (mayonnaise) juice, fruit. S - pasta and tuna, salad, herbal tea.
day2. B - bran flakes, herbal tea, fruit. L - ham and cheese sandwich, fruit juice. S - ratatouille, low fat plain yogurt
day 3. B - bran muffin, herbal tea, yogurt. L - cucumber sandwich, fruit juice, fruit. S - 1 baked potato, grilled skinless chicken, salad, fruit.

And so on. The idea is to eat what you like (within reason), make each day interesting, tasty and you have the knowledge that there are some things that you can have more of if you are feeling peckish. Your mind should not tell you that you are starving yourself.

Also pick up some good magazines - they usually have very interesting menus and ideas that you can adapt to suit you. And finally, don't worry too much about losing the weight - I am sure he/she loves you exactly the way you are. Don't do it for other people, do it for yourself. Good luck with the wedding!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Join weightwatchers, very supportive. Drink lots of water will flush out excess salt which leads to bloating. Also will make your skin glowing. Exercise for 30 mins 3 times a week. Good luck

Well you shouldnt have waited till you have 3 weeks left to try and lose weight . No use in worrying about it now

Do what Oprah does don't eat until after 12:30 and stop eating before 7:30pm.

Invest in smaller plates. Little crockery means portion control is quite a bit easier – those diminutive portions suddenly look huge and you’ll be happier to take less.
