This is a question about ksateboarding...anyone knowledgable?

I want to buy a skateboard but I don't know cause I have never skateboard. Any good brands for the barrings and wheels. I know I want to get an element board though so nevermind that. Please, any skaters.

To be honest I'm kinda out of the loop with the good skate brands these days but I've alwasy found that the guys at your local skate shop will know what's up. Talk to one of them, if they are cool they will hook you up with what you need to know. If they aren't cool and throw attitude well, they suck and go to the next shop. Good luck and have fun.

yes element is over rated

i currently have a Moose Blank i got it for 15 bucks of ebay with 8 buck shipping great board

and i also have a enjoi Caswell berry model this board is really light but i pufer my moose and the moose is cheaper

trucks i have Krown dont buy Krown save an extra 12 bucks and buy indipendants or krux or grind king

bearings i heard Bones Red's are really good i have flash but people say there no good

wheeles dont really matter just make there the right size

for grip tape get Shortys balck magic nice stuff

Element = overrated
go for a blind board
phantom 2 trucks
spitfire wheels
lucky 7, lucky titanium, or black pnthers or bones are good too
and shorty hardware
get a unit skate tool (comes in handy) i have 2
and iron horse grip tape

well honestly i like the brand zero! and if you want to skate you need to get some shoes with good grip so its easier...the stuff might be pretty expensive but its worth it! if i were you i would start out with a cheap board first because you will most likely break it and if its cheap you can just go out and but yourself a new one then when you get good go out and get yourself a good deck
