I consider it comparable to ram in a computer. Where knowledge is like hard drive space, ram is about the speed and accuracy of processing data. Just about everyone can synthesize, ponder and deduce, but the most intelligent people can do it faster, more sharply and with multiplicity.

Human intelligence is a very abstract concept. We are able to communicate like other animals, but we have also the ability to reason. We all have intelligence. However, many of us use only a 10% of it.

I believe it to be our unique (i.e. unique to all animal species) ability to be self-aware and aware of a future. In my opinion intelligence exists in all animals, (e.g. the abilities to problem-solve, understand cause and effect, seek shelter and food, etc) but HUMAN intelligence is unique. Only humans have the ability to know there exists a tomorrow.

Human intelligence is the way one reasons his/her ideas out. There is no definite measurement for it for the present things to evaluate intelligence is only the thories of humans too..
It is who you become and how you make use of your life that measures your intelligence.

I would have to say it's our ability to problem solve. Obviously some of us are better at it than others, but in general we exceed the rest of our mammalian neighbors in this area.
