Honestly, I think it should be called their "idle" week. As a bye usually means you automatically advance to the next round of a tournament without playing a game.

A BYE WEEK IS WHEN A TEAM DOESNT HAVE TO PLAY A GAME THAT ONE WEEK BUT EVERY OTHER TEAM DOES.EACH TEAM HAS ONE BYE WEEK A SEASON .UNLESS THEY WIN THIER DIVISION AND THEY HAVE A BYE WHILE THE WILD CARD GAMES ARE GOING ON.
