I used to clean a house that the bathroom was coated in hairspray.
I had to use a bleach solution to eat through it.
I tried all kinds of cleaners but there was still a residue.
Be careful not to bleach the carpet or your clothes by leaning on it to clean the mirror. I don't remember what brand of hairspray she used but it was horrible. Then you may have to go over the mirror again with glass cleaner, just watch mixing the chemicals together. (It was so bad my feet felt like they were sticking to the floor.)

Try fingernail polish remover first. If that fails, read on.
The mess you are dealing with is Lacquer. Lacquer thinner will cut right through the film on your mirror. It will also strip any paint it touches or melt most plastics. In other words don't get sloppy. I wouldn't use it on anything but ceramic tile on your floor. As far as I know it will dissolve rubber tile, vinyl, and many of the fibers used in carpeting. Always test a small area not readily visible to make certain the cleaner won't damage it.
One more thing, this thinner has a powerful odor and vapors can be harmful. Be sure you have good ventilation and don't stay exposed any longer than necessary. Read the instructions on the can for a complete list of warnings.

Clorox bathroom cleaner with teflon will work on the counters and sink, but 409 glass and mirror cuts it on the mirror and tile. If you use the clorox product on counters and sink it really is easier to clean every time, but it leaves a sticky coating when used on the floor. 409 as directed in the mopping water on the floor and straight out on the mirror.

Use either 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water-or 1 part ammonia and 2 parts water for mirrors in a spray bottle-use a coffee filter to wipe with to avoid lint.
For floors, baking soda is a natural abrasive safe for most surfaces. I generally use 1/2 to 2/3 cup to one gallon of water. You may want to use water or water and vinegar to rinse the floor with afterward in case you use to much baking soda and it leaves a film.

Less is more when cleaning hairspray.Simply wet a rag with the hottest water you can stand(you may want to wear gloves)and wipe it over the surface with the hair spray on it.Often,if you use too much product, you end up making more of a mess. The hot water will melt the hair spray, and voila!off it comes.

Use shampoo, hot water, and a cloth.
Wet the mirror with the cloth.
Put a little shampoo on the cloth and wash the mirror.
Rinse it off.
Dry it.
Works on your hair doesn't it!!???
Use a little window cleaner if you've got streaks.

Get yourself a spray bottle ( at a walmart, walgreens) and put half Heinz white vinegar and half cold water in it and spray this on your mirrors and wipe with clean cloth. Spray this on your floors and wait 5 minutes and then scrub with warm water. If you have carpet, i would use a carpet cleaner on it, such as Capture. You can find this at Lowe's, i know.

I just use a plain all purpose house cleaner (even windex would work) and some elbow grease, try to include a little cleanup in your bathroom every morning and you won't have to really worry about it again. Just a little swish and swipe, and spray and wipe your mirror and sink.
