I would think as long as you needed to get it right. Unless your under a contract that says you have X amount of time to get in. You wouldn't want great music rushed. It wouldn't sound right. I'm sure they spend alot of there time writting just one song.

it takes me about 6 minutes to get it like i like it.....sometimes i can work on it for a week at the most. it took me about 20 min to write this one. www.purevolume.com/jalusian "i call it beautiful" so i mean, it doesnt take that long......
