What that means (to me) is that the hardest step to take is always the first step. I've written three books already, and I can say the hardest thing to do is commit pen to paper (or keystroke to word processor). The question "You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?" is a good correspondence to this, for any endeavor.

"Well, before u can walk one mile u have to take at least one step first, and if u already know where ur going u shouldn't hit too many bumps in the road, but that doesn't mean, that there won't be any to climb over anyway, and if ur lucky u'll just keep putting one foot in front of the other so that u don't trip to hard and fall on your face--- But, when and if you fall, God will be there to pick u up, but u have to want to be picked up or ur gonna just end up in hell anyways!" Hahaha "That was a mouth full... but, where, when and how u make or take that journey is up to you and no one else... So Good Luck & God Bless & Keep It Moving!"

Oh i admire Lao Tzu costs...initiate looking and that they are everywhere. This one potential each and every thing starts off someplace. All long journeys, massive accomplishments, huge projects- you initiate with one step. The quote reminds to think of small sometimes, for that's the place each and every thing starts off. do no longer decrease value that some journeys are slow, step by making use of step procedures. too often all of us choose on the spot gratification, on the spot delight, and are not keen to get in there and initiate working, slowly and methodically in the direction of the purpose.

It means to me that the hardest thing to do is set out on the journey. If you can take that first step the rest flows from it.

To me it means that I can accomplish anything if I take it one step at a time. All you need is to find that first step, and all the other steps will follow.

To me it means that everyone has to start out from somewhere. Sometimes the road to greatness is long as hell, but its not an impossible journey.
