I was told if you used a condom and pull out before the guy comes that the rushing to get out could cause an error or breakage? Has anyone heard of anything like this? I always thought using a condom and pulling out before the *** was a safe thing to do until I was told otherwise. So please let me know what you think!!!

If you're using a condom, you're *fairly* safe in the first place. I don't know if I would rush to use the pull out method as well. Kind of defeats the purpose of using a condom, but hey, you're trying to be safe about it. Can't blame you for that.

I honestly think that you're fine with just the condom. I didn't have birth control until a few months ago and we've been using just condoms for 4 years. No baby. If you use them right, you should be just fine.

You can talk to a doctor though, and they can probably make ya feel better about it.

I just thinking using the pull out method as well is defeating the purpose. It's like going to see fireworks, and then leaving before the finale. *shrug*

I think what they're talking about is pulling out of the CONDOM, accidentally sliding out of it and leaving it in the woman, and then finishing on her.

The danger, if that happens is minor.
In order for her to get pregnant, first the sperm would have to make it through the spermicidal jelly that was on the condom, then through the acidity that's normally found in a vagina. The sperm that survive that far have the long journey up the uterus and many will die just from that.
THEN they have to make a choice - left fallopian tube or right fallopian tube - 50% more of the sperm are going to die. Then IF there is an egg present they MIGHT get allllllllll the way down the fallopian tube and still have enough energy to meet up.

Pulling out is not a problem - grab the condom by the base of your penis and pull out if it makes you more comfortable. We used extra spermicidal jelly for a while, but it slowly trickled out of her onto her panties and she stopped.

Pulling out will not damage the condom as long as your fingernails aren't jagged. And I don't know what could constitute an "error". If something feels strange - pull out and make sure the condom didn't break. I've had sex over 400 times, (one gf kept count), in all that time I've broken two condoms - you should be able to feel it.

Putting the condom on the wrong way will cause breakage. And pulling out before he finishes does not mean you are safe. But the act of pulling out itself should not cause the condom to break - you have to pull out eventually. Staying in until he becomes flacid and the condom slides off on its own is more dangerous.

Put the condom on right. And for those of you who think pulling out on its own is safe - learn a little bit about pre-ejaculate. It's there and it can get you pregnant, too.

And not using a condom is the quickest way to get an STD. Folks - if you aren't mature enough to go to your doctor, or look these things up on a proper website (like webMD, not yahoo Q&A) please reconsider having sex at all. It shows you aren't mature enough to understand the process and accept the responsibilities.

It doesn't really matter if you pull it or not, It's still the same risk. Sperm comes out way before the male is getting ready for it to come out. Some call it a solution but it's still sperm and condoms have a major chance of breaking so all that adds up to a big risk. It's not safe at all. I call it luck if something doesn't happen. Just hope the condom doesn't break, that's all.

If you use a condom (correctly) there is a 2% chance she will get pregnant in the first year. Pulling out (done properly -- no "oops" events) gives a 4% chance of pregnancy. So I think it is a good idea to combine the two methods. They both are "low risk", but not 0%, and not immune to error. I think it's natural to be nervous about getting a girl pregnant. Having a baby is a huge, life-altering deal.

Let's say he pulls out, the condom accidentally comes off, and then he shots. Yes, it could cause a problem if he rushes to do that. But done properly, it should be fine.

umm that sounds dumb you have to pull the condom out after so if that were the case there would be no point in using a condom execpt to prevert precome for getting in the female

If the friction of having sex doesn't compromise the condom why would pulling out quickly do so? That doesn't make any sense.
