I have it too. It goes away when I am well rested, but keeps recurring when I exhert or stand for long hours. I'm sure it is related to the back as the pain in the back and the numbness come together sometimes. If you have a job that needs you to be on your feet for long hours, then when you relax, lie down flat against a wall or something and keep your feet raised by 60-90 degrees for some time. That might help.
