As far as I can tell, everybody is insulted. It's kinda like being a guest on Don Imus' morning radio show -- if you can endure the heckling, you'll be invited back.

Lately, in my opinion, the Democratic party's only agenda has been to criticize the GOP. They recognize or fabricate issues or problems with our country, and then use that as ammunition to blast the right. They have no perspective on these issues, just the rhetoric they hear and read from the liberal media, and then regurgitate the same thought here. Neither the common Dem, or the Dems they have in Washington have any IDEAS on how they want to improve the country, just the left wing propaganda smear campaign against the right. Since they have no suggestions, only bile, we receive insults and naive snide remarks. It's not just here, its the same in Washington, on the media, next to the water cooler in the office. It's the manner if you will of political rhetoric today. I hope it changes soon, it's not doing our country, our government, or our population any good.

... and the poor meek conservatives just want everyone to get along, right? The Politics section is rife with partisan crap from both sides. It would be nice to see real discussion, but it doesn't happen much in this category.
For instance, anyone who wants to insist that either GWB or Clinton was America's greatest president is just spewing nonsense. But see how much of that there is.
It's silly to imply the conservatives are just trying to make nice conversation and the liberals are warmongers. They both suck when they let partisan beliefs overrule logic. Do a quick sampling of statements from the Politics board and see for yourself.

Conservative George Bush said the US is not against Muslims or Islam, that the majority of Muslims are decent people. We are there to liberate them and give them democracy, which includes freedom of religion.
Conservative Ann Coulter said we should invade Arab countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Chritianity.
Only one can be right, so is it Bush or Coulter?

It would help if the questions were better worded BY BOTH SIDES! Also, any time one is trying to be the "smartest person in the room," it helps to check grammar and use your spell-check.
