ok you can increase your virtual memory no problem. you have to go to system properties (right click on my computer, then properties). then go to the advanced tab, then under performance click on settings, then click on the advanced tab, then click on the change box under virtual memory. custom size should be checked and change the first number to match the second one and press set and ok. then your paging file size should be at its maximum. thats all.

lol, very simple, you dont have enough RAM...

To find out what you current page file is press (Win Key) + (Pause/Break) which will bring up the System Properties dialog box. Navigate to the “Advanced” tab and select the top of the three settings tabs (under performance). Again, in this new window, select the “Advanced” tab. At the bottom of this window you should be able to see your current page file size. Windows automatically generates this to be about 1.5 times your physical ram of your pc. However experts recommend 2.5 times. This can be set yourself by selecting the change button.

By the way, the pageing file is a file on your HDD, that acts as the virtual RAM for one of your questions..

Some PC's are not limited to Physical Memory and can expand into Virtual Memory (space on your hard disk). Windows can increase this allocated virtual space when it needs to. Don't worry, the process doesn't take long, and things may take longer to operate while it's happening - go get yourself a cup of coffee and it will have finished when you get back.
