I had a very large cyst removed from my ovaries and ended up actually having part of one of my ovaries removed. Once she went in to remove the cyst she determined that I did indeed have endo. I waited about for 2 1/2 years before I started trying. I tried for about 7 months and finally got pregnant. That ended with a miscarriage, but I got pregnant easily the next shot...only two months!! I now have a beautiful 2 month old girl....So don't give up hope. Be patient and honestly, the months I tried the hardest were the most disappointing. When I quit thinking about it is when I was able to get pregnant! Good LUCK!!!

actually, yes. I had endometriosis and one year after the surgery, I was pregnant. I know it's not right after, but it was still a pretty short time. The thing with endo is that it does not always make you infertile. And docs do not have a way of finding out if it will. They can tell you that your chances are higher, but there is nothing to be proven as to what level of endo you need to have to be considered infertile. If you're trying, good luck

Careful and meticulous excision surgery by an Endo specialist (see www.centerforendo.com) can help resolve symptoms for the long-term, including infertility. The aforereferenced Center has a better than 50% success rate in their stage 4 Endo-related infertility patients, which is phenomenal vs. the standard Lupron, etc. and vaporization surgery. Check them out. All the fertility docs in the area refer to the CEC for excision before treating patients. Careful excision and removal of Endo can treat the infertility instead of going through all the expensive protocols. Good luck to you!

They usually remove your ovaries or do a hysterectomy so you can't bet pregnant unless they left your one of your ovaries.
