This is a good question. I have been told that it is a “goddess” thing or a the deep seeded idea of what men think is ultimately female. I believe that psychologically speaking it is for the same reasons why men like breasts. These things make women seemingly more female.

I don't. I've actually dated 3 girls that had shoulder length hair or longer and I chose, and convinced them to get a shorter style. And they looked HOT b/c of it. Unfortunately, better guys came around 2 out of the 3 times that thought the same.

Most women just dont look all that great with short hair, many more look awesome with long hair.

I think to them, its just more feminine.
My dad loved long hair. So does my husband.
I believe so did my brother....
And would you believe I cut my hair to shoulder lenght. Which I think most women do after they get married. Funny enough.. I think that's because it's a change... Don't worry I say...it's hair..it will grow back...
But yeh....it's just feminine, lushious, volumcious...you know?

I think they like to run their hands through it, or possible they think short hair means your boyish (WHATEVER)
