good question.LOL I dont know why. Maybe the need time to open their wings ,and when you try to kill them they don't have enough time to open their wings, so they have to keep moving to avoid death.

not all types of cockroaches can fly. For example, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches cannot.

Cockroaches don't fly. There are other kinds of similar insects that do, and they usually don't like to invade people's homes.

they suck at flying, and they are hard to kill anyways because they have receptors which allow them to feel when something is moving quickly at them so they can get out of the way before getting squashed.

yeah , they 're stupid. i dont know why when i crushed the ground hardly with my foot to make them go away , they tried to run or fly straight to me everytime like they love me so much lol ,when they did that i went crazy .
