hahahaha, I do too. I'll save you some effort in finding out. You'll need to completely bulldoze the entire area to eliminate ALL the roots. They spread out all over and if you don't get every single bit, it will all come back. A nuclear detonation is reputed to be the most effective.

I am sorry you do not like the vegetation....
bamboo is actually a member of the grass family... 80% of the organism is underground.... you can cut all the culms(canes) down at ground level and be diligent about mowing... after a while the organism will not live without having foliage to absorb sunlight... I love the plant and can not wait to start a grove maybe several of different varieties on my property.... I think it is a very attractive plant.... beautiful foliage....

You could put a Panda Bear statue out there amongst them and make it a pretty place, like a small Chinese garden, maybe add a small pond/fountain with gold fish and a bench.

there is a product on the market that kills the roots. Ask any supply store. It works fine
