Disneyworld was the first one to come up with the idea of a huge family oriented amusement park... so for that reason, I will say Disneyworld... but Universal Studios has copied the idea and opened new parks. The parks are younger parks, where everything looks newer, and they have a lot of roller coasters that Disneyworld doesn't have... so it gives the appearance that it is newer and better... but don't get fooled...
In my opinion, just go to both parks and get the best of both world...

Walt Disney World is much better. I've never even bothered wasting my money on Universal Studios. Everyone I talk to tells me not to! Everytime I go to Walt Disney World at least one family I speak with (while waiting in lines, or whatever) tells me it's such a waste of time and money. Walt Disney World can take easily two weeks if you wanted to do every single thing. Everyone tells me Universal Studios and the Island of Adventure take less than a day! Sure, there's some great theme rides. But in their commercials, they advertise that kids stay free, and now, free car rentals. That's because Walt Disney World is so much better, and the only time anyone goes to Universal is if they're staying at WDW and happen to have an extra day. Walt Disney World has four theme parks, two water parks, Downtown Disney, and so much awesome recreation! And the Resorts are beautiful! I always stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort when I go to Florida. Walt Disney World is my favorite place on Earth! I'm going this August!

I am a better person to awnser this question be cause i curently work at universal studios. To work it would be Universal studios to visit and have a good time would be disneyworld all the way. If you have kids it would be disney world all the was because it is a kids and adult theme park. Universal studios are more for adults not children roller costers are at universal and kids cannot go on the rides. Universal studios have a litttle area for kids but not big at all they have 5 rides at universal and 5 rides at islands of adventure for kids and universal and islands are 2 seperate parks. I personaly pick disney i am single and i still pick disney i go all the time good luck with youe choice.

I'm a Disney fan myself. I've been to both a bunch of times, but the way you are treated at Disney FAR outways some of the cooler rides they have a Universal (Islands of Adventure). The Hulk coaster and 3D Spiderman rides at Universal where some of the best I've have ever been on. But Disney just has that "Disney" thing going on, which just can't be beat.

It's apples and oranges---Disney World is 4 different parks, Universal is 2. I prefer Epcot to everything else. But Universal is better than Disney-MGM Studios.
