Never ever ever look at a pregnancy test the day after or even an hour or two after!
Evaporation lines can cause it to appear like there was a positive when there really wasnt.
Now a faint line within the tests time limit (usually ten minutes) is a positive yes. With home pregnancy tests a faint line is still a line.
However since you saw it the next day the answer is you are probably not pregnant. Take another test or go to the doctor to be sure but I would not count on it.

Well you might want to take another test they say you should try in the morning, but if there is a faint line there is a high possibility that you could be pregnant which is not a bad thing only if you are not ready but it's a blessing. But really take the test again or go to the doctor and he will let you know so there for if you are you can start your prenatal and stop all your bad habits because you are now carrying an angel.
good luck!!!!

When was your last period? When did you last have sex? If you are unsure what the test result is showing you, make an appointment to see your doctor and take a fresh urine sample with you. They can dipstick it there with even more sensitive strips than the ones you buy on the high street, and if that leaves them in any doubt they can confirm it with a blood test. If you are pregnant then there will be human growth hormone present in the blood and urine, which is not normally present unless you are pregnant.

no your NOT supposed to read after 10 minutes. The test is void after 10 minutes. Go and buy another test, use it, sit it on the sink, pull your pants up and sit on the toilet lid and just watch it. All of those who have taken a preg test knows what I'm talking about! lol...... but stop watching around 4 minutes.....your just wasting your time after that.

If you read the directions it should tell you how long after the test is acurate it isn't usually more than 10-15 minute I would take another test and see what happens with that one.

The results are not good the next day. You have to see the results within minutes of taking the test.

The only thing you can do -- i know its hard is wait a few days then take another test. If there was a positive result it would tell you. There's no such thing as half and half- if the pregnancy hormone is found in your urine you are def pregnant.

Test results are invalid if looked at past the 10 minute mark. You need to retest and pay attention to the time frame - ideally, you would look at the results in about 3 minutes. Set the kitchen timer if you need to. :)

I would suggest taking another test. lines that come late can be attributed to other things ie. evaporation based on the test you took it sounds like your answer was negative.
Take a look at this site for more information:
