I have come across this a few times in my life. The most recent sitution was one of my friends caught her husband secretly going to a hotel and dressing in womans' lingerie and clothing. Is he gay? He swears he's not gay but just has to get his "fix" when it comes to wearing the lady stuff. To her knowlege he has never been out in public wearing the clothes.

Maybe its because she never wears it. She should try dressing in it and see what happens. I wear lingerie every day, in some form or another, always stockings and a garter belt, and men seem to really like that sort of thing. I do it because I like it myself, and that may be the problem. Is your friend a preppy , of a jock, wearing practical clothes all the time, and never being feminine?
I have herad so many stories fron guys at work complaining that their preppy wives never ever wear anything evern remotely sexy. Bare legs, cotton panties, flat sandels, and all the usual drap preppy stuff. I love wearing preppy clothes with high heel pumps and stockings. I caused quite a reaction.

This could actually be a lot of diffrent things. He could just like the feel of the clothes, let's face it womens clothes ROCK! or he could be struggling with gender issues. He could also be intersexed and not sure how to express his feelings.
Just because a Man dresses in Womens clothing does not immediately mean he is gay! Your friend and her husband should discuss this feeling he has openly and honestly with eachother. And if that doesn't work there are Several professional people who can help him to sort out his feelings.

I agree it feels wonderful wearing lingerie. Have you ever tried men's underware yuck, what a gross name underware.
Lingerie sounds so sexy and feminine and the styles or so pretty who wouldn't want to wear them. About 80% of all men have tried on beautiful women's lingerie and many wear it full 24/7.
It doesn't mean he is gay or anything else just a fetish........

He's most likely NOT gay. My ex husband did this. He loved the feeling of women's lingerie and said it gave him a release from always having to be the "man."
I never understood it and hated that he did it. But he enjoyed it and he isn't gay.

not all crossdressers are gay!i like to dress in womens clothing because i like the way the clothes feel on me and how i feel inside when dressed up.it is calming and relaxing to put on something satin and lace and all.Everyone doesn't realize,there are many more guys out there who enjoy putting on something feminine.almost half of men wearing business suits have a pair of panties and even a bra on underneath

that is a common fetish that many men have. some will not express it as openly as wearing it they will usually be seen at a store feeling the different materials saying that they are looking for a wife or gf. other times men will wear it to feel the material close to their bodies in order to get arroused. then there are some men that may be bisexual or homosexual and aren't in tune with their sexuality. so, i hope that i have helped you out some.

Tried it for himself.
Me, it would freak the hell outta me!
But If she's not bothered & he's lived to tell the tale.
No one' been hurt why worry about it?

Probably just likes the risque part of it.
Really the only reason why you think it is wrong is because society believes that women wear womens clothes and men wear mens clothes.
He just feals differently then that.

For some it might just be they like the feel of it on thier skin, however; if she has offered to rub against him while wearing it and he don't like it that way- he might have thoughts of a sex change (where as he says he is not gay)

There is a more sensual feel to the lace and langerie of woman than the undergarments of men. Sometimes the skin just needs to have some finery next to it.
