Why is it that we ban together for world disasters but cannot come together to fight for lower fuel prices?

There is no shortaqe of oil in the world - but there is greater demand and people are willing to pay the higher prices. Get out on the highway - do you see any significant change in the number of carpoolers? I don't. We need to chage our driving habits to consume less. Forget about paying less. China and India and growing rapidly and are needing more fuels for their growth.
