Follow the main teacher's lead. Smile a lot and be encouraging and helpful. That's all that will be expected on your first day. Oh, and arrive early.

watch and learn....this is when you really start learning when you are interacting with real people, be they kids or adults. Learn where everything is and make yourself approachable....most of all, relax and enjoy the experience...you will only ever have one first day at this...make it a good one. No point in being all nervous and worried, they are not going to expect you to recreate the Mona Lisa or anything like that....you are there to assist and learn....best of luck with it:)

You must have the first day jitters. Try to remember that everyone starting something new has had a first day. Try to be calm, breath in and out slowly and deeply. Keep telling yourself "this will be fun"! Good luck!

Be firm and stern. NOT MEAN! Be assertive. Suggest a special day like hundreds day, have everybody bring in 100 things on the 100th day of school. Announce it on the first day. Have fun!
