Of course it is. It is also in some respects, true. Different thinking patterns arising from differences in how the male and female minds are set up genetically and sociologically mean that females will be better in certain areas and males in others. There are a lot of exceptions, however, so saying that all males are better/worse than all females is guaranteed to be wrong (with the caveat of certain biological issues, such as child-birthing. Women are simply better at giving birth.)

Physiologically, men are predisposed towards the physical side...we men are built for physical labor. Women are predisposed towards the social side...they are better at networking, communication, and other aspects. Women are generally advantaged in certain class subjects, with men in others.

It should be noted that the gender gap seems to be closing, with more females competing in the sciences, in the area of sports (Michelle Wie nearly made it as the first woman to earn a spot in the PGA). However, until this gap is closed (and our minds opened more) there will always be differences seen between the two sexes, actual and imagined.

You're right. I'm a woman and can't stand the feminist movement. Just because a few men are no good doesn't mean all women are great. And I don't need a bunch of people telling me my place in society. I can figure that out on my own, thank you. That's why God gave me my own brain. I understand what you're saying. I find there's a lot of reverse discrimination out there. No one person is better than any other. We're all equal. We're all bone underneath our skin after all.

you are correct.
this is why i don't get too involved in women's issues.
i took a women's studies class in college and at the end we were supposed to decide if we viewed ourselves as "feminists" and explain why.
i said i didn't think i was b/c i am all for equality, however, i'm not in favor of pushing the opressor down beneath me.

the same can be said about the civil rights movement.
african americans have gained equality (i know racism still happens, i'm not blind..) yet you hear about people suing for retribution from their ancestors being slaves....even when they themselves were not.

equality is wonderful, however, unfortunately, someone always will want to be the top dog.
i think women are making waves in the workplace and the world. i am not concerned about our "fight" for equality.
of course, if i felt slighted against b/c of my gender, then i'm sure i would join the "fight", but i never experienced sexism to the extent where i felt the need to fight back.

one thing that does tick me off is that women train seperately in the marine corps. my husband is a marine and i was kind of ticked when he told me that the recuit classes are segregated male/female. i said that was dumb b/c we could do anything they could do and if we couldn't, then we didn't belong in the marine corps.
i don't like the idea of lowering standards to make equality...that makes not sense to me.

that;s like saying, here borrow a million dollars and the man should pay back the million, but the woman should only pay back 3/4 of it...b/c they can't make as much as a man.
i've been in positions where i've been better athletically than men and i've made more money than men....
and vice versa. that's life.
if you want to change your life, then change it. don't make the rest of the world lower their standards to make "equality".

thanks for asking...
take care.

it definitely is, and not just that, but it is the slimy way that women make space for themselves. once done they unashamedly assume that they are the better lot and take undue advantage of the graciousness of men. it is their ploy. the world will realise soon, and unfortunately the progressive world will be full of these wily woman cheats, and a great divide of a poor cheated lot of men. God. Mercy.

If you've been mistreated enough times by men, you tend to enjoy malebashing even if you realize you're not being entirely rational. But it works both ways. I've heard men who've been in similar situations bitching irrationally about women in general too. Sometimes if you don't vent, you'll explode, and it doesn't matter what gender you are or what you're venting about.

It is but everybody can't help being sexist a little bit because your always gonna want your side to do better. It's human nature.
