Yeah, you got the spelling spot on.

Approving Nazism effectively means approving racism and discrimination. Nazi Germany was a totalitarian regime where the rights of millions were suppressed, and I think on this basis its hard to 'approve' of it in highnsight. You highlight Hitler Youth, but this was effectively just an attempt to indoctrinate children with Nazi ideals at a young age and promote ardent nationalism.

I suppose some people may claim it was economically successful, however, even this is highly debatable. Ideas such as a nations self-sufficiency are very outdated now. In fact, I can't really think of many aspects of Nazim to approve of.

Sorry, I've just noticed someone claimed 'he had a good idea [Hitler] but took it toooo toooo far'. What was the good idea? A racially pure Nation? The supremacy of the German 'volk'? Absolute leadership by an individual? All of these he put forward in 'Mein Kampf', I'm just wondering which is the 'good' one?!

I am totally against Nazism! I think anybody in the right mind is too!

"Nazism was the ideology held by the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, commonly called NSDAP or the Nazi Party), which was led by Adolf Hitler. The word Nazism is most often used in connection with the government of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945 (the "Third Reich"), and it was derived from the term National Socialism (German: Nationalsozialismus, often abbreviated NS).

Adherents of the Nazi ideology held that the Aryan race was superior to other races, and they promoted Germanic racial supremacy and a strong, centrally governed state. Nazism has been outlawed in modern Germany (including all types of its propaganda), yet remnants and revivalists, known as "Neo-Nazis", continue to operate in Germany and abroad."

no i dont approve because what they did to a few million people can never beforgotten the way they stripped people and sent them to gas chambers was not only degrading but cruel. war is bad no doubt but war you are fighting with people who have weapons to fight back, these were innocent people and unarmed, just because they were jews they were condemed, the word nazism or any other word associated with it should be taken out of the dictionary never mind if you spelt it right or wrong, of course the german people at present i am sure have repented and hate the word as well, we cannot blame the present generation for what a mad fanatic like hitler did

Your spelling is correct. We can only hope that the lesson about totalitarian right wing dictators has been learned but my guess is this will happen again. When people vote without thought and go along with whatever is decided by the powers that be it is only a matter of time.
