The basic things that a plant needs are water, sunlight and fresh air. The specific amounts depend on the particular plant.
There are also some people who believe that talking to a plant or playing it music will help it grow faster. (it shows your love for it or something)

The most important thing for your garden, besides water and sunshine of course is a good compost. I love watching my kitchen garbage turn into "happy dirt" and then turn my plants into "happy plants". It's the way nature has done it for years, we should take a lesson.

It depends on what kind of plant you have. Some love the sun, like my oak tree so I leave them on the west side of my house so they get plenty of it. Others do better on the east side in the weak morning sun such as my gardenias.

i use a miracle grow feeder to feed them once a week and it seems to keep them growing bigger and bigger!try it ,it will amaze you!
