That is a good question. The only problem here is that to sufficiently answer it I would have to tutor you in Theology for about 10 years. So, here's the short and sweet. Jesus came here to "teach" us how to reject sin, "sermon on the mount" "teaching in the temples" so forth and so on, Jesus was a great teacher to those that listened to him. But yes, Jesus did die because he was betrayed on many sides. But just because you teach humanity how to reject sin doesn't mean he'll do it. Free will and all. But the saying,"Jesus died for our sins." is true however but it's a very simplistic saying to what he "really" did. Humans have a tendency to abbreviate so that saying really speaks whole volumes. So, you'll really just have to study about Jesus yourself to find your own truth.

I consider myself a christian and only consider myself a sinner whenever I fall short and sin. So not all christians consider themselves "sinners forever". Oh by the way christians have the option of asking for forgiveness whenever they slip. The trick is not to keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

Judeo Christians allowed the sacrifice which could have been ordained as wrong. His death is a mural for devotees to walk with as the crimes of the forever have been sinners get ignored. Noticeably a conscious will try to buy forgiveness through late stage donations and the such.

Not sinners forever, only during life here on Earth. The point then of his death and resurrection is that we have those sins "paid for" in the sight of God, and can then be confident that after this life we can be with God in heaven.

Christians believe that we are naturally sinful and can never completly stop sinning but when Jesus died He paid the price of our punishment. So the point is that we will not pay for our sins even though we will sin until the day we die.

His dying for our sins created a bridge for us to be forgiven and thus enter into heaven when the time comes. We are sinners for as long as we live on this earth.

We consider ourselves sinners because no one except God is perfect. Jesus died for our sins so we wouldn't have to!

Thats almost a meaning of life question! Don't try and figure it out man... it is faith. If the sentance read, "Jesus went to Mars for our sins", they'd be worshiping Mars right now.

we are not sinners for ever..

we have what makes us desire to sin.. and what makes us want to be good.. and we choose... and then in judgment day God asks us about our choices we made in our life.. we are responsible directly to what we do and what we don't do..

you don't need an intermediate connection with god to be forgiven... God is with you always all the time and every where..
