Not this year, or in the foreseeable future

No the us will not win the world cup this year. They will however do very well, this is the best u.s. team yet.
I just hope they don't embarrass us and what the rest of the world thinks about us playing soccer. No country wants us to be at the world cup, our bus was the only one without the u.s. flag on it because people were afraid it would be destroyed. There was also a sign that said "go home yankees" when the u.s. walked into their first game.

with USA facing elimination Thursday and the world already counting them out going against a tough Italy, it seems very unlikely that they will be advancing to the next round. Even if they did, it would stil be oblivious to most people here in the USA. Sorry team USA better luck next 4 years.

Iam really sorry to say this but No. The US soccer team has yet to develop a good team and compared to other teams such as Brazil, Argentina, Germany or Mexico it is very inexperience.

As an american who loves soccer (football) I have to say no we don't have the team to go all the way. I think this year Germany and Brazil are my top picks but I think England or maybe Sweden could win. They are all strong teams, its been great seeing them all play.

a RESOUNDING NO! Let's be honest overall soccer is just not a big sport in the U.S. It's big in spots but it just don't get the PR it needs to attract the athletes it needs to prosper. Imagine if Steve Nash (whose Canadian) or Kobe, or Dwayne Wade or some of our other popular athletes discovered soccer first instead of the other round ball...

Haha sadly, as I am American, NO.

It's all about Germany & Spain! Yeah, so I'm not patriotic much, but I know a good team when I see one.

Probably not. Even if they make it to the next round they'll probably come in second and that means playing Brazil.

No way! Even if they get out of the first round they have to play Brazil who will knock them out.
